This form is for new and returning official ENGINE Contacts. Use this form to request 2026 membership to ENGINE or to annually re-certify the official institutional ENGINE Contact.

Please designate one institutional contact for membership in the Engineering National Graduate Institutional Name Exchange (ENGINE). The contact is responsible for all communication and follow-up, adherence to all security and compliance measures, abiding by all aspects of the participation agreement, securing UF GatorLink credentials for data uploads & downloads, payment, and marketing ENGINE to your junior/senior student population. The official contact must consult an institutional Director, Associate Dean, or Dean of Engineering prior to requesting membership to ENGINE.

ENGINE Annual Fees (select one only)*

I understand that beginning April 2023 there are Annual Fees to participate in ENGINE. Our institution elects for no fees as we will only upload a list of our students to encourage & promote graduate education. No ENGINE Database download will be provided.

I understand that beginning April 2023 there are Annual Fees to participate in ENGINE. Our institution elects to pay $750 Annual Fees and will upload a list of our students as well as download the 2026 ENGINE Database. Annual Fees must be paid prior to downloading the database.

Collection of Student Data*

I understand that to participate in ENGINE our institution must put forward a significant effort to collect a list of students which typically entails 10% - 20% of the above listed junior/senior population. I further understand this entails direct communication with all students across all engineering/computing departments and sending multiple reminders over the summer months to non-responders. I understand the list of students I submit will include final GPA information through the spring term 2026 (i.e. April/May/June).

Annual Collection of Student Data*

I understand that a new student list must be collected by our institution annually for ENGINE. I further understand that all students must opt-in annually to participate in ENGINE. I confirm that no student information from last year’s list will be submitted for our institution’s 2026 list unless the student has not graduated, opts in again and re-submits new updated information.

Authentication of Student Emails*

I understand that all student emails submitted to ENGINE by my institution will be authenticated or validated to confirm they belong to that particular student. I further understand that one simple method for this is to only include University email addresses.

2026 ENGINE Download Template*

I have reviewed the 2026 ENGINE Download Template and confirm that our institution’s student list will identically match 100% of all data fields in order to participate.

2026 ENGINE Timeline*

I have reviewed the 2026 ENGINE Timeline and confirm that I will upload one and only one list by no later than September 11, 2026.

2026 ENGINE Student Contact*

I understand and agree that our institution will provide UNSUBSCRIBE options with each email to ENGINE prospects. If your institution does not have that technology capability then I agree that our institution will not spam contact by email or otherwise prospective ENGINE students who do not respond or do not respond favorably to our messaging and will send no more than 3-5 messages. I further understand that each ENGINE Contact is responsible for communicating with students from their own institution who request to be Unsubscribe from ENGINE.

Membership Criteria and Policy Agreement Statement*

I have read the ENGINE member institution participation agreement and our institution agrees to abide by the policy. I understand that violations or breach of information will result in immediate and permanent cancellation of ENGINE institutional membership with the need to remove and purge all student information received via ENGINE.

Optional Master's Student Data Collection

Check here if you are interested in providing a list of current Master’s students at your institution for Ph.D. recruitment from other ENGINE member institutions. I understand that institutions must provide a list of current Master's students (not future MS students) in order to receive access to the ENGINE Master's Database.
